RightSec makes Deloitte’s 2024 Technology Fast 50
On the 21st of November 2024, RightSec was announced at number 20 on the 2024 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 listing. This is a truly outstanding achievement, and recognises RightSec’s continuing growth in the Cyber Security arena. The program ranks the top 50 public and private technology companies, based on their percentage revenue growth over three years (2022 to 2024).
Deloitte recognised that despite a tough environment, with high interest rates and a stringent funding environment, the Top 50 companies showed an average growth rate of 658%, showcasing their ability to thrive amidst adversity. RightSec demonstrated an outstanding growth rate of 466%, validating how RightSec’s investment in its people and technology to best support its broad client base has been effective, and continues to provide a solid foundation for expansion.
In review of the 2024 Fast 50 snapshot, there are some interesting trends to note:
- Looking at the split of the Fast 50 across Australia, Queensland sees a growth of 6% to 12% (from 2023 – 2024). RightSec is a proud Queensland-based organisation and supports clients across QLD, as well as nationally and internationally.
- Entry to fast 50 required a growth rate of 123%, with RightSec being almost four times that number.
- Female leadership of top 50 members continues to grow from 14% in 2023 to 18% in 2024. RightSec is led by Virgina Calegare, an industry recognised Cyber Security Expert and Leader with over 26 years’ Cyber Security experience, who champions the Women in Cyber initiative. As an organisation, RightSec continues to grow its highly skilled cybersecurity team, which is currently 31% female.
Within the outstanding growth rate achieved by RightSec, it has increased its headcount tremendously. This increase has been seen with positions being fulfilled from entry to senior level. RightSec is committed to building its internal capability and continues to provide entry level pathways for Cyber Security, where talent has the opportunity to grow and provide crucial support to RightSec’s ever increasing portfolio of clients.
As part of the awards, Deloitte recognises that the top 50 demonstrate innovation, resilience, and opportunity, these three qualities are embedded across the RightSec operation, where our SOC services leverage automation and our people are highly skilled, innovative and provide out of the box thinking. RightSec’s GRC services have resilience at the front their minds not only for RightSec as an organisation, but the clients they support.
Here at RightSec, we are truly proud of our inclusion in the Deloitte Fast 50 list, and it clearly demonstrates our commitment our people, technology, the community and our ever growing client base.
